عن الوظيفة
The Senior Network Operations Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security. The role provides technical leadership for network operations, leads incident resolution, supports infrastructure projects, and works closely with internal teams, customers, and technology vendors to deliver reliable network services.
المهام والمسؤوليات
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, and Data Center network infrastructure.
- Manage and support network environments, including routing, switching, wireless, and Software-Defined Networking (SDN) technologies.
- Administer and support Cisco ACI, Nexus, SD-WAN, SD-Access, and network virtualization solutions.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and lead root cause analysis for critical incidents.
- Ensure network availability, capacity planning, performance optimization, and business continuity.
- Lead technical implementation of network projects, upgrades, migrations, and technology refresh initiatives.
- Develop and maintain network architecture documentation, operational procedures, and technical standards.
- Provide Level 3 technical support and serve as the final escalation point for network-related incidents.
- Manage change requests in accordance with ITIL best practices.
- Collaborate with vendors and third-party partners to resolve technical issues and deliver infrastructure improvements.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to network engineers and operations teams.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and network resilience initiatives.
- Prepare technical proposals, solution designs, and architecture documentation when required.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and industry best practices.
